From an early age I have always been interested in the human body and have actively pursued this interest, both in my own sporting activities and my education. At University I studied Sport and Exercise Science, graduating with a first class BSc (Hons). I then went on to complete a PGCE and qualified as a Physical Education teacher, so I could share my passion and its many benefits with other young people.

My massage journey began after I fell whilst running and injured my back. After this injury, my back never returned to its full mobility and I was left with chronic pain. Like many chronic pain sufferers, I was fearful of the pain and my movement became restricted, preventing me from returning to many of the activities which I had previously enjoyed. During this time, massage became an invaluable tool, helping me both physically and psychologically with the pain and helping me move more freely. I decided to find out more and enrolled on a Holistic Massage training course to qualify as a massage therapist myself. After then having a break from my career to become a mother, this was the perfect time to embark on a new challenge and set up my massage therapy business.
In my quest to help others, I have continued to train in a variety of new massage techniques including Deep tissue massage, Sports massage, Pregnancy massage, Hot Stone Massage Fusion and Myofascial Release. This has allowed me, in my business, to provide tailor-made treatments for each individual’s needs, whether it be recovery from injury, chronic pain or general tension.

I’ve recently completed my Level 5 Postgraduate course in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy at Jing Advanced Massage Training School, and am now a fully qualified Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist.
Over the past two years, my practice has evolved significantly as I’ve embraced a more clinically focused approach to massage therapy. I'm grateful to be welcoming a growing number of clients who are ready to take a deeper, more holistic journey toward lasting change.
As a Jing Method therapist, my work is rooted in the biopsychosocial model of care - meaning I treat not just the symptoms, but the whole person. I recognise that pain is rarely just physical. It's often influenced by emotional wellbeing, life stressors, and the stories our bodies carry.
By addressing both body and mind, my treatments create space for meaningful, long-term healing - not just temporary relief.
My own recovery has allowed me to return to running and swimming, and I now enjoy yoga and Qi gong as part of my wellness routine. I feel very lucky to be back doing the activities I enjoy, along with a job that I not only love, but supports my clients to thrive also. Massage has really helped me and it's an amazing feeling to aid other people in improving their quality of life, both physically and mentally with massage therapy, so they can move better and live more.
