Policies 

Cancellation/No Show

  • 24 hour notice minimum is required when cancelling or rescheduling a treatment ‘without charge’.

  • 50% fee will be charged in case of late cancellation within 24 hours, 100% fee of your session will be charged in case of no-show.

  • Future appointments cannot be made until the invoice is paid.

  • The fee will be waived if you fill the spot and send someone in your place.

  • Reminders are sent 48 hours before your appointment so that you have ample time to reschedule before the 24-hour window begins.    Although I send these reminders as a courtesy, it is up to you to remember your appointment. You can easily cancel or reschedule your session using the links in your confirmation and reminder emails. 

  • Please know that consecutive occurrences of booking and cancelling may result in termination of the therapeutic relationship.

Late Policy 

  • The appointment starts as soon as you enter the treatment room, this includes an intake, discussion and consent of the treatment. 

  • Please arrive on time so you receive the most out of your session. Late arrival will affect the time spent on your appointment, and I am unable to extend your appointment if you are running late and cannot change the fee. 

  • The time you have booked is the length of your appointment, not always the hands-on time.

  • ​If you arrive late, I will not be able to give you extra time.

Refusal of service

  • Intoxication (including alcohol and other substances).

  • Safety concerns, derogatory or inappropriate comments.

  • Illness or infectious conditions.

  • Lack of basic hygiene.

  • Any contraindicated condition not mentioned prior to your massage.

  • Client not abiding by any of the above policies.

  • Please note, should we have to stop your massage for any reason, you will still be responsible for the full session price.

Payment

  • Payment can be made by cash, or preferably via a BACS transfer.

  • Unfortunately I do not accept payments by cheque or offer any terms of credit.

  • Payment is due at the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed.

  • Any default in payment will cause the booking to be cancelled without refund.

  • Any breach of the agreement will result in instant black listing and all monies will be forfeited.

  • Emma Jones Massage Therapy operates a no refund policy.

Gift Vouchers

  • Our normal 24-hour cancellation policy applies.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used with any other offers or discounts.

  • There is no cash alternative.

  • They are non-refundable.

  • They are transferable.

We collect information about you when you voluntarily choose to sign up for our newsletters, purchase treatments of products or make contact with us and give us permission to hold your details.

On occasions we provide links to purchase products or services we recommend through affiliate programs to collect data from users who choose to click on one of our links and we may earn from qualifying purchases.

Please note that there is no obligation for our readers and visitors to this site to purchase any products or services recommended or to click on links provided.

We will only recommend products and services that we believe are high quality and suitable in line with Emma Jones Massage Therapy. If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact us.

How will we collect, store and use the information about you?

We collect your email address when you agree to sign up to receive further communications from us. We do not link this to any other personal information about you.

Our website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to this website so when you link to other websites you should read their own privacy policies.

Emma Jones Massage Therapy will not share your information for marketing purposes with other companies.

Marketing and contact

If you make contact with us, your email address and details of your messages will be stored on our Google site and applications. We will contact you to respond to your enquiry but we will never use your email address for any other purposes without additional consent.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, you have the right to contact us. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
